On June 20, 2025, I came across an article circulating online claiming that Flavour had signed a $3M biopic deal, which would have made him the first African artist to achieve such a milestone. The headline was bold, but when I searched for confirmation in 2025, there was nothing publicly available online. Curious, I turned to Spirit for clarity using my rods.
What was revealed shocked me.
Spirit confirmed that while there had indeed been movement toward a multi-million dollar biopic, the project was stopped before release. The reason? Professional misconduct. My rods revealed that the misconduct involved a female staff member and took place on company premises. This breach of boundaries was witnessed and, as Spirit confirmed, it was directly tied to the abrupt cancellation of the project.
The point here is not gossip. The point is accountability. A public announcement was made, but the truth of why the project never moved forward was quietly buried. Spirit uncovered what industry silence left unspoken.
To be sure, I even searched Amazon Prime Video directly. Below are the screenshots from my search. As you can see, while many shows with the word ‘flavor/flavour’ appear, there is no record of a biopic tied to Flavour the artist. This raised the question: if such a groundbreaking deal really happened, why is there no evidence of it today?
Finding no evidence online, I turned to Spirit for clarity on what really happened behind the scenes.

It was put into the media of the biopic? Yes
Was it put into the media that the biopic was canceled? No
So did Chinedu pat back all the money so that it could be kept quiet? Yes
He lost it because of the scamming, the women, and the misconduct that took place on Netflix premises? Yes.
Were the execs going back in to call Chinedu about what they heard? Yes.
Instead, they came upon him in the middle of inappropriate conduct? Yes.
Did the woman get fired? No.
Was it a setup? Yes.
Were the execs in on the setup? No.
Did Chinedu’s management know about the woman? Yes.
Did his management place her there as part of a setup? Yes.
Did she have inappropriate relations with others on his team as well? Yes.
Was she paid by his management to entangle him? Yes.
Does Chinedu know this? No.
Did this kill his opportunity for anything else in the movie industry? Yes.
Is that why in 2025 it looks like he’s leaning toward fashion? Yes.
As of 2025 has his name been cleared? Yes
By the woman? Yes
So he can work in the movie industry if he wants too? Yes
