Dollar Starting to Tank

                          

We were taught to believe that the dollar had value.  I mean this is one of the things that made the United States a Superpower to the world, right?   Have you ever asked yourself how a currency could have so much power if its not backed by anything.   

At one time the currency, which was called a Green Back, actually was worth what it said it was worth. It was backed by Silver and Gold.  Then their was the raid on gold in 19  . People were told to surrender all their gold.  Then in 1929 the economy was collapsed  and the dollar was introduced. It didn't have any thing to back it up. It was told to the people that it was worth its weight, but it wasn't.
