Well, I believe my exhaustion has caught up with me. In an earlier blog, I wrote how exhausted I was.
On November 3, I got up and I pressed my hair out to get myself ready for work. I felt fine. I got dressed, and went downstairs to get a plastic bag out my cabinet in the dining room for some tortilla chips. I was hungry. It was what I could grab quick to eat.
I trip over one of my cats. I caught the arm of the couch. Bent over half way. When I stood up straight to walk, my legs gave out on me. I called to my daughter who was in the living room, "I fell." She came to see about me. I just sat there saying, "Nope. I'm not going in. This is a sign to be still." Telling my daughter to grab my phone. I sent in our app what happened, and I wasn't coming in. I'm one of those people that rarely takes off. That morning I wasn't playing with my health.
After sitting on that floor for 5 minutes, I slowly stood up. When I did I felt the dizziness kick in. I slowly walk back up the stairs, undressed, and put my night clothes back on and rested. It was a scary feeling. I'm thinking I was just dehydrated. I drunk water and alot of other liquids, and rested.
Tuesday, I'm still a little lightheaded, so I'm moving slow. I'm debating whether or not to go in or to the doctor, and then go in. I decide on Urgent Care. I call in again to let them know I'm going to the doctor since I didn't make it yesterday, and I'll be in later.
I get to the doctor, and when I see him I tell him what happened. He tells me it could be related to diet, and my BP being a little high. I tell him that I'm Vegetarian and I do intermittent fasting. He then says since I'm a Vegetarian and do Intermittent fasting it could be genes or stress from my environment.
He gave me something for my lightheadedness, and was told I was clear to go back Thursday.
I did go back Thursday, and it was a struggle. My kids whining was like nails on a chalkboard. Whenever I had to walk those halls, or to take them out for recess my wish was not to fall out. I sat on the bench for recess, and those that didn't listen were sitting with me.
I took off Friday and for Monday because I put in the PTO two weeks prior.
I'm staying hydrated, drinking water, coconut water, beet juice, and other liquids. I find I need to eat something for Breakfast. I normally don't.
I'm going to try a raw diet. It helped me out in 2008 when I got in a car accident.
I knew a herbal doctor at the time, and he put me on a raw diet that worked. So, my instinct is saying do it again.
I'm still a little lightheaded. My exhaustion has caught up to me, and I need to be looking into something else. After this year I don't think I can do another year.
There's an adage that goes through my mind when I get stressed out, "Tomorrow is not promised." The other is, "Don't put off tomorrow what you can do today."
Live. Love. And Know You Are Already whole as a person, and Free.
