I live in the city and just saw Bambi in my backyard tonight. How she got there without being seen is mind blowing. My cat doesn't know what to make out of it. He's just on guard.
I am in awe right now to see this beautiful animal up close and personal. That it decided to come visit me.
My 24 year old daughter rushed upstairs and broke me out my writing excitedly waving her hands for me to come saying something I didn't catch. Not once but twice. I get up anyway. As I rush behind her out my room, I ask, "What you say?" "There's a deer in the backyard."
I'm rushing down the stairs now. I get to the back door and there she is just standing there looking around. I say to my daughter, "You're not videoing this?" I'm standing at the back door with my hand covering my open mouth. I'm just stunned. In awe.
My daughter gave me her phone to record. She, the deer, walks around. Comes close to my back door to look at my cat. She then walks over to eat the weeds growing.
I watched this deer for five minutes. The little girl in me came out today watching that deer. I still don't understand how she wasn't seen walking the neighborhood and how she got into my backyard.
